Well everyone we visited the doctor! Everything is in order and mom is doing fine. I was hoping to hear the heartbeat, but the doc says it a little early for that. I was a little disappointed, but instead we got an ultrasound. When the doc said that my hands went in the air. It was kind of like a referee giving a touchdown signal. Devan laughed and the doctor gave me a weird look. I asked the doctor if he could tell that I was excited. He gave a little laugh and off we went. During the ultrasound I was able to see the heart beat. The funny thing is I think my heart was beating faster than the baby's. Then I saw the baby's beats per minute were around 182 so I can say mine was beating faster (maybe around 200BPM). I added the picture to today's blog. I'm sure everyone can see the baby and point out the features, but I'll explain anyway. The heart-shaped spot is the baby's body and the head is to the left. Just to update from the last post I did purchase a book and I'm in the process of reading. Maybe in a month or so we will know the sex, but most likely it won't be next appointment. Well that's all for now!
